Anne-Laure Thévoz & Myriam Guzman Frei

Ms. Anne-Laure Thévoz is a faculty at the Institute and High School of Health La Source, University of Applied Sciences, Lausanne, Switzerland. She has done a Master of Science in Nursing (University Institute of Training and Research in Care). With nearly two decades of experience, she has been associated both in clinical practice, teaching and training. Her clinical expertise is in adult, neonatal and pediatric critical care nursing and pediatric palliative care. She has been associated with health initiatives related to active participation of parents and the family in child care. She was co-head of a clinical project on clinical assessment in pediatric nursing. As faculty, she teaches in the Bachelor and postgraduate program. She has been an active participant in organizing International activities like the Summer University and exchange programs.

Ms.Myriam Guzman-Frei is a faculty at the Institute and High School of Health La Source, University of Applied Sciences, Lausanne, Switzerland. Having done a Master of Science in Nursing (University Institute of Training and Research in Care), she has been working in clinical practice for over 15 years, teaching and doing research for 2 years. She has extensive health promotion expertise, in Switzerland and in Bolivia (South America) and led multiple postgraduate trainings. She has been working for holistic clinical perspective in pediatry, with young adult and migrants. Her current interest is in “students health” and ‘health literacy’. As faculty, she teaches in the Bachelor and postgraduate program.

Both Ms. Anne-Laure Thévoz and Ms.Myriam Guzman-Frei are on a Faculty Exchange visit organized between Shanti Ashram’s International Center for Child and Public Health (ICPH) and La Source, school of nursing.
